Changes Coming
The year 2010 starts with changes to the web site. Subtle stuff mostly but never-the-less, functionality and layout will be affected. Thank you for your patience.
NCAA Honors
New Buffalo Alumnus Beth Rohl became the first Michigan State University women's track and field team member to earn All-American honors in the discus when she placed fifth in the event at the NCAA finals.
Rohl's fifth-place throw was a heave of 175-feet-4 inches.
She also qualified for the NCAA championships in the hammer throw, but did not record a distance in the event at the NCAA finals.
She was seventh in the regional with a throw of 57.44 meters.
Rohl qualified for the NCAA finals in the discus with a fourth-place finish in the regionals, setting a Michigan State school record in the process. Rohl's record toss went 178-9 at the regionals.
